Easy Returns at Bretts
Proof of Purchase To return or exchange a product at Bretts, we need proof of purchase that shows the date, price, store, and product details. If you're missing any of these details, we'll do our best to find them in our system.
Change of Mind If you’ve changed your mind, no worries! Bretts will exchange unused products returned within 30 days, as long as they're in original/resaleable condition. This doesn’t apply to sale items, spare parts, special orders, or products we don’t normally stock. The responsibility for organising the return of products falls on the purchaser. Bretts will not be liable for any costs incurred in the process of returning products.
Faulty Products For faulty products, we comply with the consumer guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL) and any express manufacturer’s warranty. If your product needs an external assessment, we'll let you know and inform you of any fees, which won't apply if the product isn't of acceptable quality or doesn't comply with the ACL.
- Minor Faults: We'll repair or replace the item within a reasonable time in accordance with product warranty terms.
- Major Faults: You can choose a refund, replacement, or repair, in accordance with product warranty terms.
If the product isn’t faulty or the fault is due to misuse, Bretts has no obligation to offer a refund, replacement, or repair.
Deliveries and Online Orders Please don't sign for deliveries if the products are obviously damaged. If you discover damage after unpacking, or there’s an error in your order, contact us as soon as possible, or email our online support team at online-support@bretts.com.au.
