Hardie Deck is a low-maintenance alternative to timber decking, made from Hardie fibre cement. Unlike timber, Hardie Deck is resistant to damage from moisture and termites. It is also deemed non-combustible making it an ideal bushfire zone deck or fire pit deck. With concealed screws and solid, splinter-free boards, Hardie Deck feels smooth and safe and under bare feet. Hardie Deck can be used as low as 150mm from the ground with adequate crossflow ventilation when installed with the HardieDeck Concealed Fixing System. This fixing system is specifically designed to provide additional strength and durability, and to allow drainage and improve ventilation.
