The moisture-resistant surface sealer removes the need for full floor waterproofing outside enclosed shower areas. Also, unlike plywood or particle board, you can tile directly onto it without the need for underlay, helping to avoid noticeable height differences from one floor finish to the next. Hardie Secura Flooring is quick and easy to install with its tongue and groove joint, which also eliminates the need for timber trimmers. Unlike some other flooring substrates, Hardie Secura Flooring can be gun nailed to the floor without pre-drilling and screwing holes, helping save time in installation.
