Installation and Care
The door, entrance set and hinges are supplied as separate components for professional machining, fitting and installation. The package is not supplied pre-hung, pre-drilled or pre-machined.
Before machining, confirm the required handing, opening direction, latch backset, frame clearances and finished hardware position. The lock preparation must be positioned within the door's reinforced lock block or stile.
The door must be correctly sealed, finished and maintained in accordance with Hume's instructions. Seal all faces and edges, including the top, bottom and every machined opening, immediately after fitting. An exterior entrance door also requires a properly weather-sealed frame and suitable overhead protection from direct weather exposure.

Important: Professional installation is recommended. Confirm the door frame, handing, opening direction, clearances, exposure conditions and lock-block position before machining. Door frame, jamb, sill, weather seals, finishing products and installation fasteners are not included.
Warranty
The Hume door and Lockwood hardware are covered by their respective manufacturer warranties, subject to correct installation, finishing, use and maintenance. Failure to seal every door surface or provide adequate weather protection may affect the Hume warranty. The Lockwood Symmetry range includes a five-year finish guarantee, subject to the manufacturer's conditions and exclusions.
