Waterproof internal and external tiled areas with this ready-to-use, fast-drying flexible membrane.
Mapei Mapelastic AquaDefense is a one-component, solvent-free liquid membrane applied beneath ceramic, stone and mosaic finishes. It forms a continuous waterproof layer on suitable horizontal, sloping and vertical substrates.
Key features
- Ready-to-use, one-component formula
- Apply in two coats by roller, brush or trowel
- Minimum finished thickness of 0.8mm across two coats
- Certified to AS/NZS 4858:2004 as a Class III wet-area membrane
- Certified to AS 4654.1-2012 for external above-ground use as a non-exposed waterproofing membrane
