Wesbeam I-beam timber joist H2S treated 240 x 63mm is an engineered timber floor and roof joist designed for long, straight spans with reduced weight compared with solid timber members. The I-joist profile uses engineered flanges with a structural web to provide consistent performance and stable set-out. The H2S treatment indicates above-ground protection for internal or sheltered framing, not for exposed external weather. Install with compatible hangers and blocking, keep the web intact (cut holes only where permitted by the joist supplier guidance), and protect from water during construction.
